About The Artist

 

Born and raised in south Florida to Haitian immigrants, Guerline Pierre fell in love with art at the age of six years old drawing with pencils. As a child she noticed the admiration for her talent from family, teachers and classmates alike, which then fueled her creative journey. She started painting in 2019 and has since then turned it into a career. Her art mainly focused on positive representation of black culture, nostalgic memories from her childhood, and other random day to day things that bring her joy. She hopes her art will inspire those who come across it.
