Product Shots - Content used to highlight and show off your product.

Sneak Peek/Teaser - A great way to build anticipation by dropping hints or sneak peek of your new releases. Usually short and sweet - as in one or two posts/stories leading up to reveal. 

Full Product Launches - Content in multiple formats (posts, stories, IGTV, etc) that lead up to the new product launch as well as content after to nurture the new product for sales.

User-Generated Content (UGC) - The perfect way to connect with your community and showing your products being used by real customers. Also, it can be used to source content, in general, that is a good fit for your brand, and doesn't always have to be from your customers.

Promotional - Any content used to promote your products or sales campaigns. 

Testimonials/Reviews - Power promotional method by sharing reviews from real clients. A great way to help relate and provide social proof that your business actually provides real results to real people. 

Before & After - Another strong promotional method because it’s proof of the results that your product or service provides to customers. 

Influencer - Content featuring brand ambassadors for your company. 

Giveaways - Curated content featuring what you’re offering for someone to win who participates in your giveaway. 

Transparency - Keep it real with your audience, if product delays are happening let them know. What ingredients do you use? Do you have ethical production methods? Anything you feel keeps an honest approach with your customers. 

About Me/Us - Build trust between potential customers, sharing content focused on the team or about yourself is a great way to personify your brand.

Lifestyle - Content around the things you do in your life or experience or beliefs. If you’re a juice brand then you probably promote a healthy lifestyle with other topics like yoga or mindfulness. If you’re an international swimwear brand maybe you have a travel wanderlust lifestyle showing beautiful beaches and locations. 

Selfies - Show off the human side of your business. This can be you or your team or even your furry friends. If people can relate to you it will help you to build trust and break down barriers when building your audience and promoting your products.

Behind The Scenes (BTS) - People like to see what’s going on behind the curtains and are always curious as to what the process is like. Great way to allow your audience to get to know you more. 

Tutorial - People love to learn new things and if you can share knowledge and educate your audience by providing easy DIY tutorials it will establish you as an expert and keep your audience coming back for more. 

Knowledge & Tips - Position yourself as an expert in your market by sharing your knowledge. Think about what you can offer your audience that will be of value to them, like marketing tips, nutrition tips, benefits of elderberry, etc.  It can be inspirational - how to manifest money, entertaining - top 10 tips for single or educational - learn how to create fail-proof sales strategies.

Questions/Polls - This can be posts about asking your audience for feedback for product development - such as help pick a label or product name. Or what kind of content are they wanting more of? Etc. Or it can be posts about getting to know them - like where are you from, what’s your sign, what’s your birthday, etc?

Ask Me Anything - Allow an opportunity for your audience to ask you questions. It can be open-ended or around certain topics. Perfect theme for IG live.

Fun + General Facts - Always cool to learn something new and will help to position your brand as an expert in your market. 

Infographic - Great way to break down information into a visual format that helps your audience learn and understand certain topics. 

Interviews - Great way to connect with other experts or influencers in your market. Can be very informative as well if the topics are focused on helping your audience understand certain topics deeper but in a more conversational way. Great for IG Lives that you can save to your IGTV. You can also interview your customers too. 

Features (People or Products) - This can highlight people who inspire you or your latest product. If you’re a coach you can highlight your students' success. You can feature a product every month or week to highlight its benefits. Perhaps during breast cancer awareness month, you can highlight survivors and your products that donate to breast cancer charities. 

Quotes - Quotes inspire people and are very shareable. They have a high chance of going viral and can be about anything. Motivating, inspiring, empowering, etc. 

Memes - Always great to have fun, relevant, thoughtful, motivational memes. They are great in filling up your content and often are highly shareable. 

Crosspost - Using content from other social sites is a great way to get maximum use out of your content. Brands usually screenshot their tweets and use them as content on Instagram. Or uploading their TikTok videos to Reels.

Timely (Holidays) - Great way to fill up your content schedule as well as create promotional sales around Holidays. 

Current Trend - This helps you stay relevant and current with what your audience is doing. Also, you can ride the virality of the engagement that is buzzing during the trend to bring back more traffic to your page.
